The palate is concentrated and layered—silky tannins frame ripe fruit, minerality and savory umami, leading to a persistent, refined finish. Producer notes: Domaine Antoine Lienhardt is a small, attentive producer in the Côte de Nuits focused on expressing the unique terroir of their parcels. Their Clos de Vougeot bottling seeks to convey the site’s depth and structure while maintaining elegance and energy. Winemaking notes: Fermented with careful temperature control to preserve aromatic purity, the wine was matured in French oak barrels with a portion of new wood to add subtle structure and spice. Elevage emphasizes balance—extraction aimed at silky tannins and length rather than overt power.
