Blason d'Issan 2021 is a refined second wine from the prestigious Château d'Issan in Margaux. Crafted from the youngest vines of the estate, this wine showcases the unique terroir of the region. Aged in oak barrels for 14 to 16 months, with one-third new oak, it offers a harmonious blend of plum, light pepper, chocolate, and hazelnut aromas. On the palate, expect bright red cherries, cranberries, and a touch of tangerine zest, complemented by cedar and tobacco notes. Its medium body and mineral-salty finish make it approachable now, yet capable of aging gracefully. Perfect with beef, venison, or Manchego cheese.
