Tasting note
Tasting Note: Bright citrus and ripe orchard fruits open the bouquet, layered with white florals, toasted almond and gentle vanilla oak. On the palate it shows a rounded, creamy texture—think soft butter and stone-fruit richness—kept lively by a saline minerality and refreshing acidity, finishing long with savory almond and citrus peel echoes. Producer & Vineyard: From a Premier Cru site in Santenay Les Gravieres, this wine reflects the gravelly-limestone soils and cool nights of the Côte de Beaune. The domaine is a family-run estate focused on expressing terroir; vines are carefully tended on well-drained slopes producing concentrated, healthy fruit. Winemaking: Fermented and aged in French oak with a portion of barrel maturation to gain structure and subtle spice, the wine undergoes malolactic conversion for a silky mouthfeel. Aging on fine lees adds creaminess and depth before gentle bottling to preserve aromatic freshness. Service: Best served slightly chilled (10–12°C) and given about 30 minutes of aeration to open. Ideal for those who enjoy a fuller-style white with balance between richness and mineral tension.
