Tasting note

卡龍世家二牌呈現出賣相親和、方便喝的聖艾斯泰夫風格。杯中先聞到紅果與黑果的甜香，進一步有可可、薄荷與些許煙草與烤香，還帶點鉛筆屑與礦物感。入口圓潤、絲絨般的單寧包裹著多汁果味，酸度支撐整體節奏，收尾偏向鹹香與礦質尾韻。釀造上以人工採收、振動與人工分選雙重篩選，低溫不鏽鋼發酵、浸皮18–21天、蛋清澄清，最後17個月法國橡木桶熟成（30%新桶），風味兼具即飲性與陳年潛力。葡萄園位於厚厚的冰磧礫層之上，下層為黏土，頂部還覆有湖相細黏土，這樣的土壤結構帶來結實的骨架與礦物感，是搭配烤牛排或熟成起司的好選擇。

This second wine from Château Calon-Ségur offers an immediate and charming expression of the estate’s terroir. Aromas of red-currant and cassis mingle with ripe cherry, plum and dark chocolate, edged by pencil-shavings, crushed rock and a savory tapenade note. On the palate it is plush and juicy with a velvety texture, a lively backbone and finely grained, dusty tannins that frame the fruit. Winemaking is careful and traditional: hand harvest with mechanical vibration sorting, temperature-controlled stainless-steel fermentation, maceration for 18–21 days, egg-white fining and 17 months in French oak (30% new). The vineyard sits on a thick Quaternary gravel cap over clay-rich Tertiary soils, with a top layer of lacustrine clay — a profile that gives lift, structure and a mineral thread through the finish. Approachable now after a short decant, it will also reward medium-term cellaring.
