A celebratory limited-edition release from Hennessy crafted for the 2025 Year of the Snake. On the nose this X.O. unfurls generous layers of dried stone fruit, candied orange peel, warm vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is plush and expansive — caramel and dark chocolate arrive alongside baking spices, leather and a hint of tobacco, all wrapped in a broad, silky texture. Long, warming finish with lingering spice and oak echoes. Producer notes: assembled from carefully aged eaux-de-vie drawn from Hennessy’s extensive cellars across premier Cognac crus, then married and rested to achieve the hallmark X.O. complexity. Winemaking: multiple ageing tiers in French oak casks impart deep colour, structure and spice; the limited-edition bottling adds special labelling and presentation for the Chinese New Year. Vineyard: fruit sourced from the Cognac region’s varied terroirs, giving a balance of ripe fruit, floral lift and mineral backbone. Serve neat in a tulip or snifter at cellar to slightly cool room temperature; allow 10–20 minutes in glass to open.
