Tasting note

This 2017 Chateau Puygueraud is a rich and elegant wine from the Francs Cotes de Bordeaux region. It is a blend of 63% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 7% Malbec, offering a dense and tannic palate. The wine is dry, with the fruitiness taking a while to develop. Expect the black fruits that are lurking in the background to come through. The wine is matured in wooden tanks and 225 L barrels for 12-16 months, adding to its complexity. It is best enjoyed with red meat, cheese, or poultry.
