This 1983 Delord Vintage Armagnac is a true testament to the mastery of distillation by the Delord family. Harvested, pressed, and vinified separately, the four grape varieties used in this Armagnac are transformed into a slightly acidic and low-alcohol wine, ideal for distillation. The distillation process takes place in the heart of winter in the family's native village of Lannepax, using both continuous and double distillation methods. The result is a dry, oaked Armagnac with a medium body and flavour intensity, and a balanced finish. It is best enjoyed with cheese, desserts, or foie gras.
