Tasting note

The 1982 Chateau Dauzac is a testament to the classic and savory profile of Margaux wines. With a deep gravel terroir and meticulous vineyard management, including organic fertilization and high-density planting, this wine exudes the elegance expected from a Fifth Growth estate. The hand-harvested grapes, carefully sorted and de-stemmed, lead to a wine that is both complex and balanced. Fermented in wooden vats and aged in French oak barrels, it offers a symphony of red fruit flavors with a hint of earthiness. Decanting for an hour allows its nuances to unfold, making it an excellent companion to roasted meats and rich risottos.
