Chateau Pontet-Canet, located in the heart of Pauillac, is a historic estate known for its commitment to organic and biodynamic farming practices. Owned by Alfred and Michel Tesseron, the estate spans 81 hectares of certified organic and biodynamic vineyards. The soils are composed of Quaternary gravel, providing an ideal environment for the vines. The 2012 vintage was marked by a challenging growing season, but careful vineyard management and meticulous sorting ensured only the best grapes were used.
