Tasting Note: Deep ruby in the glass, this Limoux red opens with lifted aromas of blackberry and baked blueberry, then unfolds layers of sun-dried cherry, red raspberry, violet and pomegranate. On the palate it is full-bodied and generous: dark chocolate and hazelnut threads run alongside a smoky, meaty character and a chalk-dusted, persistent finish. Polished tannins and ripe fruit give it immediate appeal while structure promises short-term cellaring.

Producer & Winery: Domaine de Baron'Arques, under the ownership of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, brings Bordeaux-inspired precision to Limoux. The estate combines modern winemaking with careful vineyard selection to produce concentrated, terroir-driven wines. Total production for this bottling is limited (around 66,000 bottles).

Winemaking & Ageing: Fermented and matured with evident oak influence (oaked maturation), the wine benefits from careful blending and élevage to round tannins and integrate spice and toast notes. The result is a rich, layered wine with a long, slightly chalky finish.
