Tasting note

This special six-bottle collection brings together iconic vintages from one of Saint-Julien's most respected estates. Each bottle displays the estate's hallmark concentration and balance: layers of dense black fruit and ripe plum, lifted by cedar, tobacco and graphite notes. The palate is structured and focused, with firm yet refined tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, mineral-tinged finish. Winemaking follows a rigorous selection from gravelly, well-drained plots, careful vatting and extended élevage in French oak barrels to marry power with finesse. Ideal for drinking now with decanting, or for further cellar ageing—this set offers a compelling overview of the estate's style across classic years.

Winery

The estate behind these wines is one of Bordeaux's most storied properties, with generations of meticulous stewardship and a reputation for powerful, structured wines that balance concentration with precision. Vineyard sites are predominantly gravelly slopes close to the estuary, enabling excellent drainage and ripeness. Grapes are carefully sorted; fermentations are managed by parcel with extended macerations and élevage largely in French oak. The house style emphasizes layered fruit, firm tannic architecture and long ageing potential.
