Tasting note

A masterpiece from the renowned M. Chapoutier winery, the 2022 Saint-Joseph Blanc 'Les Granits' is a wine of exceptional elegance and complexity. Crafted exclusively from hand-harvested grapes grown on steep granite slopes in the south of Tournon, this wine showcases the best of the Saint-Joseph appellation. Its golden yellow hue is complemented by a mineral-driven nose with floral notes of honeysuckle and lily, alongside intriguing hints of Tabasco, wax, and honey. On the palate, it is well-balanced and harmonious, with a subtle spice finish that evolves into honeyed richness with age. Fermented in a combination of vats and large wooden barrels, and aged on lees for 8-10 months, this wine is a testament to meticulous winemaking. Perfect for pairing with poultry, veal, or Moroccan-inspired dishes, it is a versatile and memorable choice for any occasion.
