The 2021 Paul Jaboulet Aine Saint-Joseph Domaine de la Croix des Vignes is a fine and delicate wine with a rich history dating back to the 16th century. This ruby red wine offers a complex nose of black fruit aromas, complemented by delicate spicy and toasty notes. The palate is clean with a supple attack, leading to a finish carried by lovely, well-integrated notes of aging. The wine is crafted by winemaker Caroline Frey, using traditional vinification methods and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and concrete eggs. The vineyard, located on granite soil with a south to south-west exposure, is managed with great care, ensuring the highest quality grapes.
