The 2020 Vieux Chateau Certan is a masterpiece from the renowned Pomerol appellation in Bordeaux. This wine showcases a brilliant hue and a rich bouquet of black, red, and blue fruits, intertwined with notes of chocolate, spice, espresso, and truffles. The palate is incredibly concentrated yet light, with polished, velvety textures and a purity of fruit that is simply mesmerizing. The finish is exceptionally long, crossing the 60-second mark and leaving a lasting impression. The wines of Vieux Château Certan possess natural concentration and require a few years’ cellaring before the first bottles can be opened. As with the greatest Bordeaux wines, they can be enjoyed after 10 to 15 years of age.
