The 2018 William Fevre Espino Gran Cuvee Chardonnay is a testament to the meticulous viticulture and winemaking of the Maipo Valley. This selection, originating from a vineyard planted in 1992 at an altitude of 900 meters, showcases a later harvest that ensures greater depth and ripeness. With 30% of the wine aged in barrels for nine months and the remainder in tanks, the winemaking approach eschews malolactic fermentation to preserve the wine's vibrant character. The result is a harmonious blend of ripe, tropical flavors with a juicy contrast provided by the wine's lively acidity.
