Perched on the upper slopes of Vosne-Romanée, Les Petits Monts shares a border with the legendary Grand Cru Richebourg and sits near La Tâche. Facing southeast, the vineyard enjoys optimal sun exposure, while its limestone-and-clay soils ensure excellent drainage. Because of its privileged location next to Richebourg, wines from Les Petits Monts often exhibit Grand Cru structure and depth — making it arguably the finest 1er Cru in the village.
