Producer notes: Domaine Laurent Roumier is a family-driven estate rooted in tradition. Tracing its origins to 1924, Laurent established his own domaine in 1991 and has gradually built holdings to roughly a dozen hectares. The team works with an ethos of passion and respect for site, tending old vines (average ~35 years) by hand. Winemaking notes: Harvest is done manually and vinification follows an old-school approach, favouring gentle extraction to preserve aromatics and terroir expression. Domaine Laurent Roumier is a family estate with deep roots in Burgundy. Though Laurent established his own domaine in 1991 after a long association with his brother, the family’s viticultural history dates back to 1924 under his grandfather. Starting with rented vines, the domaine expanded through acquisitions and now farms roughly a dozen hectares, favouring traditional, hands-on viticulture and patient, old-style winemaking driven by passion rather than fashion.
