品飲筆記:色澤深沉,初聞濃郁黑果香(黑莓、黑櫻桃),隨之而來的黑巧克力、黑胡椒及煙燻肉香,法國橡木的香草與香料細節帶出層次。口感飽滿而集中,果味飽和但不膩,單寧紮實卻經過磨練,入口既有力量感也保留絲滑質地,尾韻綿長悠遠。酒款故事:酒名源自酒莊所在的 Marananga(意為「我的手」),由釀酒師 Michael Twelftree 在桶中分級時親手挑出,列為酒莊少量且最頂級的限量釋出。田間與釀造:果來自 Seppeltsfield 子產區的 Holy Grail 葡萄園(約22年樹齡、海拔250公尺),土壤為紅棕壤覆蓋石灰岩,年雨量約450–500mm,採小批量采收與單蔓修剪以求果實集中。釀造採開槽發酵、人工抽蓋(高峰期每日最多三次),平均浸皮9天;自由流汁與壓榨汁合併,24小時後入橡木桶完成乳酸發酵,於300公升法國大桶熟成24個月,裝瓶前僅做最少澄清且未過濾。配餐建議:濃郁紅肉、燒烤或濃醬燉菜最合拍。建議醒酒1小時以上,若想更平衡可延長至90分鐘。

Tasting Note: Deep, intense aromas of black fruit — blackberry and black cherry — layered with dark chocolate, cracked black pepper, smoked meat and French oak spice. The palate is concentrated and plush: ripe fruit drives the core, while well-structured, ripe tannins and a polished oak frame build toward a long, persistent finish. Producer Notes: Named for Marananga — 'my hands' — this is the estate's hand-selected, limited-release premium wine, chosen by Michael Twelftree during barrel classification for its exceptional character. Vineyard Notes: Fruit comes from the Holy Grail vineyard in the Seppeltsfield sub-region (vine age ~22 years, altitude 250m). Soils are red/brown loam over limestone; annual rainfall ~450–500mm. Small, carefully managed picks (2 ton) and cane pruning yield concentrated fruit. Winemaking Notes: Parcels were crushed and de-stemmed into open-top fermenters with regular pump-overs (up to three times daily) and an average 9 days on skins. Free-run and pressings were combined, racked to oak after 24 hours for malolactic fermentation, then matured 24 months in 300-litre French oak hogsheads. Bottled with minimal fining and no filtration. Drink Window: 2022–2045. Serve after 60–90 minutes of decanting for immediate perfume, or cellar further to integrate. Best matched with rich red meats and robust, savory dishes.
