2018 Markus Molitor Haus Klosterberg Riesling Trokenbeerenauslese Dessert (375 ml)
2018 Markus Molitor Haus Klosterberg Riesling Trokenbeerenauslese Dessert (375 ml)
A sumptuous, botrytised dessert wine showing layers of honeyed apricot, orange marmalade and candied citrus lifted by fresh ginger spice and beeswax. The palate is voluptuous yet threaded with bright, Mosel-like acidity that keeps the sweetness in elegant balance. Complexity builds with notes of caramel and stone fruit, finishing long, resinous and mineral. This Trockenbeerenauslese is hand-harvested in tiny yields, fermented slowly and handled gently to preserve aromatic purity — a decadent, age-worthy bottle that delivers both immediate pleasure and long-term cellar potential.

Winery
Weingut Markus Molitor is a multi-generational Mosel estate praised for precision and site expression. Under Markus Molitor's direction the domaine practices rigorous hand-harvest selection on steep slate terraces, focusing on low yields and careful cellar work to translate vineyard character into wines of clarity and longevity. Their approach to late-harvest and botrytised parcels prioritises gentle handling, small-batch fermentation and subtle aging so that concentrated aromatics and natural acidity remain in balance.
