Tasting note: Bright orchard and citrus on the nose—kumquat, lime, nectarine and red apple—accented by jasmine, white pepper and a gentle vanilla oak. On the palate it is buttery and fruit-forward: green apple, orange and lime arrive first, then a warming spice that resolves into marshmallow, cotton-candy sweetness and lingering creamy fruit.
Producer notes: This is Roseisle’s first single malt special release aged 12 years and presented at natural cask strength (56.5% ABV). Released under Diageo’s stewardship, it showcases Speyside’s classic fruit-driven character lifted by oak influence.
Distillation & maturation: Distilled and matured for 12 years, bottled at cask strength to preserve intense aromatics and mouthfeel. The oak impression supplies soft vanilla and gentle spice while the high ABV carries concentrated flavour layers.
Region & fields: From Speyside, where cool nights and fertile river valleys favour bright orchard and citrus notes. The spirit carries the region’s hallmark fruitiness tempered by careful oak maturation.
