The Armagnac Delord story started in 1893. Prosper Delord, a travelling distiller and cellar master, transformed white wine into Armagnac using his alambic. Today, the distillery is located in Lannepax, the family's native village, where they continue to use both continuous and double distillation methods. The vineyard spans 45 hectares and is divided into 11 parcels, cultivating the four traditional Armagnac grape varieties. The cellars, with over 1000 barrels, age and protect the Armagnac eaux-de-vie, with the oldest vintages kept in glass jars in a room called Paradise.
