Tasting note

這款2006年酒款帶著成熟的黑果香,入口先是黑莓和深色李子的濃郁果實感,接著轉為黑胡椒、煙燻肉與苦甜巧克力的層次。酒體飽滿,單寧結實卻已經圓潤,酸度支撐整體結構,使口腔感覺既有重量也有彈性。酒莊由Michael Twelftree擁有,主釀Ben Perkins與田間管理人Travis Coombe對葡萄園細心照料,採小批次手工採收,部分於法國橡木桶中熟成以帶來香草與雪松的風味。建議醒酒約45分鐘,能讓迷人的香料與陳年風味漸次展開。

A mature, concentrated red showing dense dark-fruit aromas of blackberry and plum layered with cracked black pepper, smoked meat and dark chocolate. On the palate it offers full, plush weight with firm yet integrated tannins, gentle savoury earthiness and cedar-vanilla notes from careful oak ageing. The 2006 vintage reveals complexity from bottle age — tertiary leather and baking-spice nuances sit alongside the core fruit. Crafted by Ben Perkins with fruit from Langhorne Creek parcels managed by Travis Coombe, this bottling balances power and polish and rewards a short decant to open up its aromatic range.

Two Hands Wines is a focused Australian producer known for small-lot, fruit-driven bottlings sourced from premium parcels. Owned by Michael Twelftree and led here by winemaker Ben Perkins, the team works closely with vineyard manager Travis Coombe to select ripe, balanced fruit from Langhorne Creek. Fermentation and maturation are handled with attention to texture—small fermenters, gentle extraction and time in quality oak to add spice and structure without overwhelming the fruit.
