On the nose, black cherry and plum mingle with truffle and dark chocolate; the palate delivers plush, velvety tannins, a rounded mid-palate and a mineral-tinged finish. Producer notes point to careful selection in the vineyard and measured oak ageing to preserve fruit intensity while adding spice and structure. Winemaking favours gentle extraction and blended élevage in French oak to build complexity without harshness.
