The 1996 vintage captured a classical, structured growing season, resulting in a wine of immense depth and enduring grace. Fermented in plot-dedicated vats and aged gracefully in French oak, it now presents a striking garnet hue with brick reflections. On the palate, a seamless entry reveals layers of earthy black truffle, dark preserved cherries, leather, cigar box, and tar.
