2020 Daou Patrimony Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon

A concentrated, mountain‑coast expression with dense layers of dark fruit framed by cedar, graphite and subtle baking spice. The nose opens to cassis, blackberry and hints of espresso; the palate is full and structured, delivering a velvety mid‑palate, ripe, chewy tannins and a mineral-tinged, very long finish. Crafted as a top-tier release from DAOU’s estate, this vintage shows focused extraction, thoughtful oak integration and the stamina to reward short- to mid-term cellaring. Ideal with richly flavored red meat, mature cheeses or savory, umami-driven dishes.

DAOU Estate sits on a windswept ridge in Paso Robles, established by the Daou brothers with a dedication to high‑altitude, terroir-driven wines. The estate focuses on low-yield farming on shallow, mineral-rich soils, hand-harvested fruit and small-lot vinification. This Black Label Patrimony is a flagship bottling—meticulous canopy management, cold-soaks, controlled fermentations and extended aging in French oak produce concentrated, age-worthy wines that show mountain freshness and coastal influence.
