A poised and expressive vintage from Moët & Chandon’s Grand Vintage series. Aromas open with bright citrus zest and white orchard fruits, followed by bread-oven brioche, toasted nuts and a touch of honeyed complexity. On the palate the mousse is fine and persistent, acidity is lively and sculpted, while the mid-palate offers creamy, broad fruit and gentle baked-bread notes. The wine shows a chalky saline thread through a long, elegant finish. Made by traditional method with extended lees ageing and a restrained 5 g/L dosage, this 2016 vintage balances richness and freshness — ready to enjoy now or to cellar for further nuance.
