Ruinart is the oldest champagne house, established in 1729, inspired by Dom. Thierry Ruinart but founded by Nicolas Ruinart. The family has run the House for over two centuries. Chardonnay is their Champagne’s soul - expressed in their Blanc de Blancs. The signature for their entire range is typically bright, intense, elegant and slowly matured for an aromatic richness. 93 James Suckling This Champagne has a strong following and it's easy to see why with the attractive ripe chardonnay fruits delivering white and yellow peach, mango, nectarine and lemon cream aromas and flavors. This is very stylised and uncompromising, with loads of hard cheese and yeasty character. Not for mainstream palates, perhaps, but should satisfy most ardent fizzophiles.

Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Brut is a beautifully balanced and refined Champagne, showcasing exotic ground spice and floral accents to the flavors of poached white peach, Meyer lemon, and candied ginger, with hints of pastry and honey. The wine has a vibrant, luminous pale golden yellow color with gentle green reflections and active effervescence. On the nose, it is very intense with fresh fruit notes, particularly ripe citrus fruits, followed by refined floral notes of white flowers and fruits like white peaches and pineapple. The palate is supple and harmonious, with a rounded attack and excellent freshness. The finish is long and mouthwatering, making it perfect for pairing with dishes like carpaccio of scallops, parmesan pasta, oysters, provencal snails, smoked salmon, or lobster salad.
