Tasting Note: The Glenrothes 'Whisky Maker's Cut' opens with a rich, sherry-influenced bouquet of plums and sultanas framed by milk chocolate and a hint of new leather. On the palate it is silky and luxurious — medium-sweet sherry, vanilla, ripe blackcurrant and treacle combine into a full, rounded mouthfeel. The finish is long, showing dark berries, a gentle oak spice and black pepper. Producer Notes: Crafted by The Glenrothes in Speyside under Master Distiller Laura Rampling and owned by the Edrington Group, this expression highlights the distillery's sherried style. Winemaking / Distilling Notes: Matured predominantly in sherry casks to concentrate dried-fruit and caramelised sugar notes, bottled at a robust 48–48.8% ABV to preserve flavour intensity.
