高原騎士25年是一支來自奧克尼群島的成熟單一麥芽,融合了雪莉桶的深厚果乾甜感與酒廠特有的石南花泥煤煙燻。酒色自然,呈現金銅暖調。聞香先是蜂蜜、柑橘皮與烤果乾,隨後釋放香草、太妃糖與巧克力的誘人香氣;入口圓潤油滑,太妃糖與堅果香氣細緻爬升,海風帶來的鹹感與溫和煙燻交織,尾段留有胡椒與木質香的悠長餘韻。

Highland Park 25 is a mature island dram that marries rich sherry-cask fruit and dark chocolate with the distillery's signature heather peat smoke. Colour is a natural, deep gold with warm copper highlights. On the nose expect honeyed citrus, dried fruits and layers of vanilla and spice; the palate delivers fudge, toffee and nutty tones underpinned by saline, maritime smoke and a cedar-oak backbone. Maturation took place in a carefully balanced mix of first-fill sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks plus bourbon casks, allowing both vibrant sweetness and complex dry spice to develop over decades in Orkney’s temperate, sea-swept climate.
Producer notes: natural cask-driven colour, flavours of dark chocolate, fudge, heather, honey, nutty toffee and dried fruits. Master Distiller Gordon Motion oversees a slow, traditional approach from floor-malted character to long cask ageing.
Production & maturation notes: malted barley and island peat provide the core smoky floral character; distillation follows Highland Park’s traditional spirit profile before long maturation in a mix of American and French oak, sherry and bourbon-seasoned casks. The result is an oily, full-bodied whisky with layered sweetness, coastal salinity and a long, peppery, smoky finish.

Highland Park distillery, on the Orkney Islands, is one of Scotland’s historic producers. Owned by The Edrington Group and overseen by Master Distiller Gordon Motion, Highland Park combines traditional floor-malted spirit, local peat character and a long, balanced maturation program using sherry-seasoned European and American oak plus bourbon casks. The distillery’s cold, maritime climate contributes to the slow interaction between spirit and wood, producing rich, coastal-driven single malts.
