【Sommelier's Private Note】Hand-picked, triple-sorted and finished with optical sorting, the 2010 La Lagune shows a layered perfume of Asian plum sauce, kirsch and mulberry, threaded with tobacco, pencil-smoke and violet. Full-bodied but precise — tannins are firm yet polished, acidity keeps it fresh, and oak integrates into a long, savory finish. Best served after a good decant; it will reward patience for years.

【Winemaking & Vineyard】Caroline Frey oversees 80 hectares cultivated with practices inspired by organic and biodynamic principles; official organic conversion began in 2013. Plot-by-plot vinification, careful extraction and élevage in French oak (half renewed each year) emphasise terroir expression: light pink, yellow and white quartz gravel with silica and calcite that reflect sunlight and produce wines of grace and balance.
