A classic Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois with ripe dark-fruit aromas—black cherry and currant—lifted by cocoa, gentle oak spice and a subtle floral/bergamot note. The palate is medium-bodied, vibrant and mineral-tinged with polished, soft tannins and a chalky finish. Made from grapes grown on deep gravel soils, harvested with a mix of manual and mechanical picking and sorted carefully, the wine spent 15 months in French oak (30% new) which gives structure without overwhelming the fruit. Approachable on release but with cellaring potential through the 2030s, it pairs beautifully with red meats, roasted cuts and aged cheeses.
