Tasting note
白州12年源自南阿爾卑斯山麓的森林蒸餾所,風格偏向清新、青草與藥草香。金黃色澤,香氣有羅勒、松針與青蘋果,入口帶出甜梨、薄荷與奇異果的果香,伴隨奶油般的橡木與輕微泥炭煙燻。收結像是茶香與切碎薄荷的餘韻,口感清爽但層次豐富。釀製時使用山泉水與高海拔四季氣候,並在橡木桶中熟成,適合慢慢品飲,或搭配和風燒烤、熟成乳酪與香菇類料理,喝前在杯中靜置約10分鐘香氣更顯。
A bright, herbal single malt from Suntory’s Hakushu distillery, offering a distinctly green and fresh profile. Colour is a light champagne gold. The nose shows basil, pine needle and green apple; the palate unfolds with sweet pear, mint and hints of kiwi, balanced by creamy oak and delicate peat smoke. Finish evokes green tea, chopped mint and a gentle peppery lift. Made at high altitude on the slopes of Mt. Kaikomagatake, Hakushu’s water and mountain forests give the spirit its crisp, vibrant character. Matured in oak casks, bottled at 43% ABV with a T-top cork. Serve neat or with a splash of water; rest in the glass for about 10 minutes to open aromatics.

Hakushu Distillery, owned by Beam Suntory, sits in high-altitude forest near Mt. Kaikomagatake. Founded as a mountain distillery to explore a fresher, greener whisky style, Hakushu uses crisp spring water, seasonal mountain climate and traditional copper pot stills. The house style combines herbal freshness with light peat and careful oak maturation.
