品飲筆記:酒色深邃帶微微石榴紅邊。香氣層次豐富,先是黑櫻桃與李子,接著有柑橘皮、乾花香與甘草,熟成後的蘑菇與濕土氣息讓人沉醉。口感飽滿,酸度活潑、單寧細緻但有力,結構緊實,尾韻悠長且帶鹹香餘味。 酒莊介紹:瓦迪卡瓦是蒙塔奇諾頗具聲望的酒莊,重視田間管理與果實分級,目標是釀出既有力量又保有精緻感的長熟酒款。 釀造說明:採人工採收、較長時間的浸皮以抽取色澤與骨架,經過長期木桶熟成及瓶中細緻調和,讓單寧與香氣充分融合,既能早飲也耐陳年。 葡萄園與風土:來自蒙塔奇諾多坡地與排水良好的礫石土壤,日夜溫差幫助保留酸度,低產量與嚴格修剪帶來濃縮而均衡的果實。醒酒建議約一小時,搭配紅肉或傳統義式燉菜風味最佳。

Tasting note: Deep ruby with a garnet edge, this Brunello opens to a complex aromatic profile of black cherry, plum and ripe bramble, interwoven with orange peel, floral nuances, licorice and savory mushroom. Spices of cinnamon and cardamom emerge with time. On the palate it is full-bodied and concentrated yet balanced — lively acidity and ultra-fine, persistent tannins propel layers of dark fruit, earthy savor and cedar. The texture is polished and the finish long and resonant. Producer notes: Made by Valdicava, a highly regarded Montalcino estate celebrated for wines that marry power with finesse. The house philosophy emphasizes strict selection in the vineyard and careful cellaring to craft wines built for aging and complexity. Winemaking notes: Fruit is hand-harvested and treated to extended maceration to extract depth and structure. Maturation includes prolonged ageing in wood followed by bottle refinement to integrate tannins and tertiary flavours; the result is a wine with both immediate presence and cellaring potential. Vineyard notes: Grapes come from steep, well-drained hillside sites around Montalcino where warm days and cool nights favour balanced ripening. Low yields and attentive canopy work concentrate flavours and support the wine’s natural tension and longevity.
