品飲筆記:酒香先以明亮的紅果帶出,覆以黑莓、煙草與礦物的深層氣息。入口中段質地細緻,單寧絲滑不厚重,酸度鮮明帶動全體節奏,橡木香與土壤氣息交織,餘韻穩定而帶層次。
酒莊與葡萄園:尤利西斯位於Oakville橡木崗,坐落在梅亞卡瑪斯山腳下的沖積扇上,土壤為深層礫石黏土壤,非常利於成熟出集中而有深度的果實。酒款由Christian Moueix擁有,並有Dominus團隊參與製作,追求優雅與平衡。

Tasting Note: Bright red-fruit aromatics — raspberries and cherries — give way to darker blackcurrant, tobacco and mineral tones. On the palate the wine is elegantly built: medium-bodied with fresh acidity, layered oak spice and earthy complexity, and very silky, finely grained tannins that carry the flavours through a persistent, composed finish.
Producer & Vineyard: From Ulysses Vineyard on the Oakville bench, the site sits on deep, gravelly clay loam across an alluvial fan at the foot of the Mayacamas Range, an exceptional location for ripening concentrated, expressive fruit. The project is owned by Christian Moueix with winemaking input from the Dominus team, producing a restrained, refined style that contrasts with the riper elements of the vintage.
Winemaking: Harvested between 26 September and 11 October, fruit is carefully sorted and matured in oak, producing a wine with structure and spice without excess extraction. Limited production (approx. 1,200 cases) and cork closure reflect a traditional approach to quality and aging potential.
Serve & Pairing: Best decanted 45–60 minutes if drinking now to open the aromatics. Pair with grilled or roasted red meats, herb-accented lamb dishes, richer Asian barbecues, or aged cheeses.
