這款蒙塔奇諾紅酒充滿朝氣，前段有清爽的紅果與野莓香，繼而帶出香草與淡土壤氣息。入口酸度明亮，單寧細緻而有彈性，酒體中等偏輕，尾韻帶點溫和香料與礦感。酒廠在釀造上以保留果味與鮮活感為主，葡萄經過精選、短中等的皮浸與在橡木中適度熟成，使結構圓潤但不搶走果香。葡萄園坐落於蒙塔奇諾的坡地，土壤排水良好，日夜溫差幫助累積風味與酸度。建議開瓶後醒約40–60分鐘或短時間醒酒器使用，更能顯現層次。搭配番茄系義大利麵、燒烤或熟成乳酪非常合拍。

A vibrant Rosso di Montalcino with lively red-fruit energy and a floral lift. On the nose you’ll find red cherry and wild strawberry framed by dried herbs and subtle earth; the palate is focused and sleek, with bright acidity that carries fine, polished tannins and a gently spicy finish. Winemaking aims to preserve freshness: selected grapes from the estate see a gentle maceration and maturation in oak for several months to round the structure without masking fruit. The vineyards sit on Montalcino’s hills with well-draining soils that lend mineral grip and clarity. Approach this wine mildly chilled after a short decant to let the aromas open.

Valdicava is a respected estate in Montalcino known for concentrating on site expression and careful vineyard work. The team focuses on low-intervention practices in the vineyards and thoughtful cellar decisions to highlight purity of fruit and terroir. The Rosso bottling represents the estate’s fresher, more immediate expression—hand-harvested fruit from hillside parcels, managed to favor balance and clarity, then matured briefly in oak to integrate tannins while keeping aromatic lift.
