Bright and classically balanced, this Premier Cru from the Morgeot 'Vigne Blanche' parcel opens with lifted citrus blossom, lemon peel and green apple, followed by white peach and ripe stone-fruit notes. On the palate it shows a creamy mid-palate framed by fresh acidity and a fine mineral backbone; toast and hazelnut from careful oak ageing weave through the finish, which is saline and persistent. Producer notes emphasize terroir expression from limestone-rich soils and low yields that concentrate flavours. Winemaking combines attentive whole-bunch pressings, fermentation and ageing in quality oak barrels with moderate new oak, partial malolactic conversion and occasional bâtonnage to build texture while preserving longitudinal freshness. The vineyard sits within the respected Morgeot Premier Cru area, benefiting from a calcareous subsoil that brings energy and precision to the wine. Drink now with a short breathing time or cellar into the early 2030s.
