The 2012 Two Hands Wines Ares Shiraz from Barossa Valley is a powerful and intense wine that showcases the very best Shiraz parcels selected each vintage. This wine is deep dark opaque ruby with purple reflections, offering an intense bouquet of blackberry confit, sweet spices, bourbon vanilla, ripe plums, and heart cherries, with a delicate touch of caramel. On the palate, it is pronounced in fruitiness with fine acidity, dark berries, fine toasty aromas, liquorice, coffee, and nougat on the finish. This wine has a long lingering finish and excellent aging potential.
