Smells of pristine lightly spiced blueberries and plums and leads to intense flavors of red plums and red cherries cloaked in perfectly integrated spicy oak. Long, regal tannins that are seamless. This is clearly the best Latour à Pomerol for over 30 years. JS 97+

The 2015 Chateau Latour a Pomerol is a testament to the classic and savory profile of Bordeaux's Pomerol region. With a rich tapestry of earthy black and red cherries, truffle, cocoa, licorice, and black coffee notes, this wine is lush and round on the palate. While still relatively unevolved, its ripe fruit and tannins make it approachable now, yet it promises to unfurl its true character around 2025. Matured for 18 months in French oak barrels, this wine is a luxurious expression of the esteemed terroir managed by Christian Moueix.
