A polished Pomerol from the Jean‑Pierre Moueix stable, the 2021 La Grave à Pomerol Trigant de Boisset offers an inviting bouquet of ripe plum, black cherry and floral lift with subtle savoury spice. On the palate it’s medium-bodied and bright, driven by fresh acidity and a creamy mid-palate that carries dark-fruit flavours into notes of dark chocolate, vanilla and faint sandalwood from 18 months in French oak. Tannins are well-integrated and fine-grained, giving structure without drying the finish. Approachable now after a short decant, it will also reward careful cellaring over a decade. Ideal with roasted and braised red meats, earthy mushroom dishes and mature cheeses.
