2023 Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release

Lagavulin 12 Year Old Special Release 2023 is a majestic Islay malt, steeped in over two hundred years of history. This single vintage whisky is matured in traditional refill American oak casks, offering a perfect expression of the distillery's character. The pale gold appearance and medium body introduce a mild nose with ashy top notes, linseed oil, and a hint of sea air. The palate is smooth and sweet, with intense smoky flavors and a touch of salt. The long, smoky finish is lightly drying with an appetizing salty aftertaste. Enjoy this whisky with grilled seafood, smoked salmon, blue cheese, or dark chocolate.

Lagavulin is an iconic Islay malt, its majestic spirit steeped in history for over two hundred years. Standing proud in a rocky bay crowned with a castle by the Lords of the Isles, who long ago ruled Islay, it reigns supreme today like the White-Tailed Eagle that soars high above the sea and shore nearby.
