Cloudy Bay, established in 1985, is one of the most famous wineries in New Zealand, known for its exceptional Sauvignon Blanc. Located in the Marlborough region, the winery benefits from the unique climate and free-draining gravelly soils of the Wairau Valley. The winemaking process involves cold settling of the free-run juice, fermentation primarily in stainless steel tanks, and a small portion in large format oak vats to add texture and complexity.
