This Kumanbachi peach liqueur (720 ml) is an aromatic, fruit-forward spirit showcasing ripe peach aromas, white florals and a hint of honeyed syrup. On the palate it is plush and velvety, with concentrated stone-fruit sweetness balanced by a gentle, fresh acidity and a subtle almond kernel note on the finish. Produced by a small Japanese craft maker, the liqueur is made by macerating hand-picked peaches in neutral spirit with cane sugar, then resting the infusion to allow flavours to harmonise. Serve slightly chilled or give a short 10-minute aeration to open the aromatics. Ideal neat as a dessert sip, over ice, in cocktails or alongside soft cheeses and light Asian sweets.
