This 1962 Delord Vintage Armagnac is a testament to the mastery of distillation by the Delord family. Harvested, pressed, and vinified separately, the four grape varieties used in this Armagnac are transformed into a slightly acidic, low-alcohol wine ideal for distillation. The distillation process, carried out in the heart of winter in the family's native village of Lannepax, is an essential and fascinating step in the creation of Armagnac. This Armagnac is dry and oaked, with a robust body and intense flavours. It pairs well with cheese, desserts, and foie gras.
