品飲筆記:散發榛果、烤蘋果與微酸的檸檬香氣,入口先是柔滑奶油感,隨即由明亮的柑橘與桃李類果香推動,全程帶有酵母與礦物的細緻香氣,尾韻帶一抹雪松香,收束悠長。 酒莊與產區:空白畫布(Blank Canvas Wines)由 Matt Thomson 與 Sophie Parker-Thomson 經營,這款是酒莊首度推出的單一園作品,強調小量、精選園塊與保留土地個性的釀造理念。 釀造與熟成:以提升口感為重心,採用瓶中久久的酵母香氣與溫和的桶陳處理來建立層次感,微量攪拌與溫和發酵讓酒體既有奶油質地又保留清新酸度,香料與木質感用得克制,支持風味而不搶戲。 葡萄園環境:來自馬爾堡(Marlborough)涼爽海洋性氣候與排水良好的土壤,晝夜溫差幫助果實保有純淨果香與緊緻酸度,土地的礦質感在酒中表現得很明顯。 醒酒建議:輕醒約30分鐘會更開放。搭配烤魚、奶油派或清爽的烤雞都很合拍,想試口味更豐富的組合可以配帶椰奶或微辣風味的東南亞菜。

Tasting note: Lifted aromatics of hazelnut, baked apple and Meyer-lemon open to a palate of citrus, stone fruit and subtle lees spice. The texture is creamy yet energetic — mid-weight with bright acidity and a saline/mineral thread that carries a long, cedar-tinged finish. Producer notes: This is a first-release single-vineyard wine from Blank Canvas Wines, the project led by Matt Thomson and Sophie Parker-Thomson. Small-batch thinking and careful parcel selection underpin the wine’s focused expression and excellent poise. Winemaking notes: Fermented and matured with an emphasis on texture: lees ageing and gentle handling build mouthfeel while restrained oak provides spice and structure without dominating the fruit. The result is layered and detailed, with fine acidity holding everything in balance. Vineyard notes: Sourced from a Marlborough site shaped by cool maritime influence and free-draining soils. The site’s diurnal range preserves clarity and tension, producing fruit that gives both freshness and ripe, nutty complexity. Serve lightly chilled and allow a short decant (about 30 minutes) to open the aromatics. Pair with grilled white fish, creamy quiche, roast chicken or lightly spiced Southeast Asian dishes.
