酒莊背景:Blason d’Issan 是來自同名莊園的二牌,定位貼近日常享用但仍保有產區風格。酒款主要取自年輕的葡萄藤,產量穩定,旨在把庄園的優雅與果味表現得更早熟、更親民。
釀造與陳年:以傳統波爾多手法發酵,經橡木桶熟成約14–16個月,其中約三分之一為新桶。釀酒時控制萃取以保留果香與清新酸度,橡木為酒體帶來香料與圓潤結構,但不蓋住果味。
葡萄園環境:選自瑪歌產區排水良好的礫石地塊,受近海氣候影響,成熟節奏穩定。使用年輕葡萄藤所釀出的果實明快、酸度俐落,中段口感飽滿而不沉重。
飲用建議:建議醒酒45分鐘左右,搭配烤牛排、烤羊肉或較濃郁的野味都很合適,配上一塊成熟硬奶酪更能提升口感層次。
Tasting Note: Juicy and inviting, this Margaux second wine opens with ripe plum and cherry, edged by notes of dark chocolate, hazelnut and a touch of black pepper. Cedar and tobacco emerge with aeration while a mineral thread keeps the finish fresh and lifted.
Producer & Background: Blason d’Issan is the approachable second label from Château d'Issan, crafted to reflect the estate's Margaux terroir while offering earlier drinking pleasure. Produced in sizeable quantities, it allows selection from younger vines within the property and aims to deliver the estate's signature balance and elegance at a friendly price point.
Winemaking: Fermented in a classic Bordeaux style and matured in oak for roughly 14–16 months (about one third new oak), the wine receives gentle extraction to preserve bright fruit and freshness. The oak adds spice and silky structure without overwhelming the palate, producing a medium-bodied, well-framed wine.
Vineyard Notes: Sourced from Margaux parcels with well-draining, gravely soils and a maritime influence, fruit for this cuvée comes primarily from the estate’s younger vines. The resulting wine shows open fruit, fine acidity and a poised mid-palate that makes it enjoyable relatively young yet capable of short-term cellaring.
Service & Pairing: Decant for around 45 minutes to allow the aromatic layers to open. Pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted beef, lamb, richer game dishes and mature hard cheeses.
