Bowmore Tempest – Dorus Mor 10 Year Old is a coastal, cask-strength Islay single malt that hits immediately with saline, sea-spray notes and an assertive peat smoke. On the nose: samphire, clams with lemon, wet clay and a hint of lavender. Palate shows rich toffee and vanilla from oak maturation, then layers of peat and maritime iodine; it's tense and energetic, best enjoyed neat or with a few drops of water to open softer fruit notes. Distilled and matured on Islay for ten years in a mix of oak casks, Batch 6 preserves the distillery’s signature balance of maritime salinity and smoky complexity — velvety in texture but with real heat and a long, smoky finish.
