Chateau Calon-Segur is a historic estate located in the Saint-Estephe appellation of Bordeaux. Known for its exceptional terroir, the estate produces wines that are both authentic and stirring. The vineyard features a thick layer of gravel with a predominantly clay sub-soil, providing ideal conditions for growing high-quality grapes. The winemaking process includes hand-picking, mechanical sorting, and temperature-controlled fermentation, followed by aging in French oak barrels for 20 months. The estate is owned by Suravenir and benefits from the expertise of consultant winemaker Eric Boissenot.
