1969 Chateau Montrose

The 1969 Chateau Montrose is a testament to the timeless elegance and refinement of Saint-Estèphe wines. With a predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon blend, this wine exhibits a structured and tannic profile, yet it is balanced by a delicate and complex bouquet that has developed over time. The wine's aging potential is showcased in its longevity, with certain vintages reaching legendary status. Matured for 18 months in French oak, the wine has a savory and classic character, with notes of broody black fruits, menthol, anise, and an earthy finish.
