Chateau Moulin Riche 2015 is a beautifully crafted wine from the esteemed Saint-Julien appellation. This wine showcases a harmonious blend of dark cherry and currant flavors, complemented by earthy and tobacco notes. The wine is medium-bodied, elegant, and polished, making it a delightful choice for any occasion. The vineyard, located in the northwest of Saint-Julien, spans 20 hectares and benefits from the rich terroir of Garonnaise gravel over sand and clay. The wine undergoes meticulous winemaking processes, including manual harvesting, temperature-controlled fermentation, and aging in French oak barrels for 18 months. This wine pairs wonderfully with grilled lamb chops, roast beef, mushroom risotto, and aged cheeses.

Ideally located in the northwest of the Saint-Julien appellation, Château Moulin Riche is composed of 20 hectares of vineyard in a single block. From these terroirs are born wines that are absolutely delectable, yet they echo the elegant, structured style of the appellation. At one time, it was the second wine of Château Léoville Poyferré, but later regained its independence as a ‘grand vin’ in its own right with the 2009 vintage. The 2018 vintage displays a new label, a “negative space” inspired creation, to highlight this wine’s own identity.
