Tasting note

來自波亞克的頂級酒莊，2013 年氣候多變但最終造就了均衡而有層次的酒款。酒液顏色深沉，先是黑櫻桃、黑莓與莓果香氣，開放後轉為香料、微烤感與咖啡巧克力風味。口感上柔和但有支撐，單寧細緻不粗糙，酸度帶來清新輪廓，礫石土壤的礦感讓整體更有線條感。酒莊位於小丘 Plateau de Mouton，密植且老藤比例高，收成集中於九月底至十月初，橡木桶陳釀約十八個月。建議醒酒一小時，能更快享受層次與悠長的收尾。

A classic Pauillac First Growth from a changeable 2013 vintage, this wine opens with an intense deep-red hue and a bouquet of black cherry, raspberry and blackberry that blossoms into spicy and gently roasted notes with airing. On the palate it offers a fresh, rich attack, layers of vanilla and dark chocolate from careful oak ageing, and refined, well-integrated tannins that give structure without harshness. The estate’s hillside vineyards on deep gravel produce concentrated, ageworthy fruit; harvested between 30 September and 9 October, the wine was matured 18 months in French oak. Expect a polished, mineral-tinged core and a long, profound finish — rewarding now with an hour of decanting and will continue to evolve in bottle for many years.

Château Mouton Rothschild — a 1er Grand Cru Classé estate owned by the family of Baroness Philippine de Rothschild — is famed for parcelling exceptional gravelly hill vineyards and for pairing great winemaking with artistic wine labels. Meticulous vineyard work (dense planting, mature vines) and traditional winemaking under Philippe Dhalluin produce wines that marry concentration, fine oak integration and ageing potential. Fruit is hand-harvested and the grand vin receives extended elevage in French oak, reflecting both terroir and house style.
